Groundbreaking for the new construction was held Tuesday, July 7, 2009.
This new construction is necessary because ofhe physical condition of the existing building.
The new building will directly benefit the residents of St. Luke’s Home by providing private rooms and large bathrooms with showers. Culture change in the provision of care and the setting in which to provide that care will ensure dignity and quality service to future generations.
Construction costs are rising daily. Assistance from the congregations and community we serve is imperative to the success of the project.
