Restorative Therapy
St. Luke's offers restorative therapy five days per week. Exercise, range of motion, ambulation and other therapy services are provided by restorative therapy aides under the direction of a registered physical therapist consultant.
Community Day Program
St. Luke's Community Day Program is designed to offer relief for the home caregiver by providing a place where loved ones can be cared for by trained professionals. Individuals can participate in a variety of services to include: a nutritious noon meal, snacks, restorative therapy, medication pass, whirlpool bath, structured and individualized activities; all under constant supervision.
Dietary Services
Residents at St. Luke's are offered a select menu. The Dietary Department is directed by an experienced food service supervisor who oversees the dining and nutritional programs of the residents. The food service supervisor is responsible for providing nutritional meals and supportive services under the direction of a registered dietitian consultant who visits the facility on a monthly basis.
Social Services
St. Luke's provides social services by a full-time licensed social worker. Each resident has a "plan of care" which incorporates the needs and preferences as indicated by the resident, their family and physician. The social services department also serves as a "resident advocate" to insure that the rights and desires of the residents are observed. Social Services oversee the Community Day Program and Alzheimer's Program.
Activities
St. Luke's Home provides a balanced and ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and physical, mental and psychosocial needs of each resident. Programs are coordinated by experienced activity directors and staff. Volunteers assist the staff with many activities.
Each resident's care plan addresses their individualized activity needs. Activities are as much therapeutic as they are recreational. Choose from large group programs as well as one-on-one sessions.
